Cancellation & Refund Policy

WHY IS A CANCELLATION POLICY IN PLACE?

 

THM is committed to providing the highest quality of care to all clients that book in for any services. This means I care for all my clients, including any who are on waiting list to see me.

 

• The booking and cancellation policy is put in place for the protection of the practitioner and client.

• The practitioner reserves the right to terminate sessions if cancellations or no-shows become excessive. This will be discussed with the client prior to the termination of services. Please be respectful of time.

• My commitment to you, the client, is that I, Jenn Robinson provide up to date, evidence based treatment.

 

This cancellation policy is designed to dissuade clients from booking appointments and cancelling or rescheduling them at late notice. This allows me as the practitioner to have full availability to other potential clients who may have used the time where you booked in.
 

CANCELLATIONS
 

• Cancellation within 24 hours of your appointment time forfeit 50% of the appointment fee.

• Cancellation within 6 hours of your appointment time will forfeit 100% of the original fee.
 

 

RESCHEDULING
 

• Reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment time will be acceptable and not incur any forfeiture of the original booking fee.
 

 

FAILURE TO ATTEND/MISSED APPOINTMENTS
 

• Failure to attend an appointment will forfeit the full appointment fee.
 

 

IF ATTENDING VIA ZOOM OR PHONE CONSULTATION
 

Jenn Robinson will allow 15 minutes for you to join the conversation. If you fail to arrive in this time, the appointment will deemed as missed and you will forfeit the full appointment fee.
 

 

WHEN WILL A CANCELLATION FEE BE WAIVED?
 

In exceptional circumstances this fee may be waived. If you have been charged a fee you believe is unfair, you can address your appeal to Jenn Robinson by email. You will receive a receive a response within one week.

PRIVATE SESSION CANCELLATION

This policy has been designed so that clients are aware of the cancellation policy. When you make an appointment to see me 1:1, I reserve the whole hour for you. Hence, if for some reason you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, you must let me know by 24 hours before the business day before your appointment.

 

This is to allow time to offer the appointment to another client who has urgent needs and may be on a cancellation list waiting for an appointment. If there is insufficient cancellation notice or non-attendance to an appointment a warning will be given on the first occurrence. Thereafter, the client will forfeit the full session fee which is to be paid before rebooking.

 

Sessions will be paid in full at time of booking.

 

  • Failure to give at least 1 business days’ notice to cancel or change an appointment will result in you being charged the full session fee.

  • Non-attendance with no notice will also attract the full fee. No further appointments can be scheduled until this payment is made. 

  • Cancellation on my behalf will only be necessary in emergency situations. (Sudden illness or family emergencies) in which case - a session reschedule will happen for the client.

 

 

WORKSHOPS OR GROUP THERAPY CANCELLATION

 

  • If a workshop is cancelled by me (e.g. due to insufficient numbers or illness or any other reason), the participants will be offered a full refund, credit or the option to reschedule.

  • Jenn Robinson will endeavour to inform participants of cancellations at least 48 hours before the start of the workshop.

  • When registering for workshops and information sessions, please ensure that you have enrolled in the correct event and are available for those specified date(s).

If you want to cancel your enrolment more than seven days before the start of the workshop, a $25 administration fee will apply.

 

Also, please be aware that your withdrawal may lead to the class being cancelled entirely if there is an insufficient number of participants.

  • Refunds are not given for change of mind.

  • Cancellations within seven days of the workshop start date.

  • Any request to transfer the workshop fee for credit to be used at a later date must be made in writing to (email address)

  • A workshop credit must be used for the next available workshop only and within 12 months of initial booking.

  • If the participant fails to attend the subsequent workshop they transferred their credit to, or 12 months expires, they will forfeit all fees.
